The diploma in CMS & ED, Community Medical Services & Essential Drugs is a full two-year program, with the course equipping the student with skills and knowledge relevant for primary health care, making use of the allopathic drugs approved by the WHO. Students are given a training with all the competencies to administer important medical care within the context set by the Supreme Court of India.
Candidates seeking admission to the CMS & ED program must have passed higher secondary education with science as their stream of study. The program also accepts people who have completed alternative medicine degree courses like BAMS, BEMS, or DEHM.
